Center of Gravity in Kelowna!

Well if you remember my post from wayyy earlier this year about Kelowna and the Center of Gravity,  the time has finally come.   So what has happened after the second night of musical performances, and one full day of sporting events?  So much, about 1,800 frames actually.  Luckily, I dropped down to JPEG only for the weekend's events, otherwise I'd have a serious storage issue on my hands (as of about 6 hours ago).

Friendly Link Sharing: Eric Frigon

With Eric's launch of his first webpage this week, it's time to share his link and hopefully get him some exposure.  Eric Frigon is an old room mate of mine from Lake Louise, still rockin' it out, unlike myself.  Luckily I can still maintain a connection to the area through Eric's photos.

In-House Printing!

Exciting new addition to the already super-small and super-cramped Gardiner Photo office -- A hulking beast of an Epson Professional Photo Printer!  I miss having the desk space, but I love being able to print on a whim.  I let my friend talk me into buying this printer, after I heard his rave reviews about it for nearly a year now.  So what does it mean now that I have a pro photo printer at my disposal?

Lake Louise and Banff Trip 2011 Part 1

Well just this passed June I took a three day trip to my old home of five years, Lake Louise, in banff national park. In those three days I was graced with perfect June weather, which rivals September weather in the rockies (in my opinion).  This trip was one of the greatest Ive taken, for the simple reason that I captured in three days, nearly all of the 'iconic' Banff scenes that I failed to capture in my time as a resident.

Fan Giveaway

Download Me!
Well, I made it to 700 fans before the end of June, and for that I have decided to make an image of Lake Louise available for everyone to download and print as a way of saying thank you!

This composition is from July 2007 and is likely one of my first with my (then) new Rebel XTi.
