The Places You'll Find Me

Google Place Page Snapshot

To be successful with a small business and especially as a freelancer, one has to become available. That's why you can find my listing on Google Maps now.  I know for myself, a lot of times when I look to do business with someone new, I consult Google Maps for who is in my area - without having one of those little drop pins associated with your business, you wont show up.  That's some crucial exposure being lost!

Wedding Photography Portfolio

I released my first video portfolio on Youtube of my Real Estate Photography work, you can find the blog post. Well because I like the format so much, I very quickly got onto making my Wedding VideoPortfolio after, as you can see from the video above!

I had a lot of fun making it, and actually found I didn't fit everything in I had planned in my outline. Read on if you want some behind the scenes info on actually making one of these.

Time Lapse Demo Reel

Near the end of 2013 I went ahead and compiled a little time-lapse demo reel.  Time lapse is one of the forms of video I've been shooting since shortly after I got my first DSLR in 2007.  I had many challenges back then, most of which stemmed from not having the right equipment.  With a few years of practice later, I've decided to compile a short video.  Timelapses can be otherwise hard to share one-at-a-time so you'll often see photographers and videographers make compilations with their work as I did here.
Majority of the locations are Okanagan, and almost entirely British Columbia.

Read on for a little more information about making time lapses.

If you can't tell, I've been slowly making a bunch of big changes, and there are heaps more in the works.  One of them is a brand new opportunity I am introducing regarding advertising spots on this blog here!
This post probably doesn't apply to everyone, but take a look,
